Zoo-holoplankton assemblages in the surrounding waters of Kamal Western Part of Seram Island Maluku Indonesia

Abstract Zoo-holoplankton dynamic between the sites are useful to knowledge with regard characteristic of areas and in relative community structure zoo-holoplankton.The research conducted surrounding waters Kamal village, western part Seram Island, Maluku Province. organisms collected from six-fixed Research stations consisted different characteristics, namely 1 2 Fish Aggregation Device placement areas, station 3 is area for setting lift nets, 4 6 front river mouth 5 coral reef area. Sampling done every two weeks by using zooplankton net (diameter 45 cm) sled a 200 µm meshed. The result showed that composition zoo-holoplankton 37 genera 8 phylum, 9 classes, 28 families. There were about ( Calanus sp, Calocalanus Acartia Centropages Oithona Onceae Corycaeus sp Copilia sp), which found all periods. While some only present at certain or periods Eucalanus Labidocera Sapphirina Evadne sp). abundance peaked (16,332 ind/m −3 ) third period, while lowest was (809 second period. Similarities indices high during whole period (91%, 82% 78%) low (In first period) 5. We noticed differences sampling leading numbers zoo-holoplankton. .
